Bio

​Danny Jauregui is a Los Angeles-based artist working in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture.  Jauregui received his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002 and his MFA from the University of California, San Diego in 2006.  In the summer of 2005, he attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture residency in Maine.  His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in such venues as The Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, Estacion Tijuana, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Bowdoin Museum, The Museo Ruffino Tamayo, and more recently The Power Plant in Toronto Canada and the Samuel Freeman Gallery in Los Angeles.  His work is in numerous private and public collections including the Sprint Collection, The Long Beach Museum Of Art, and Bowdoin Museum.   Jauregui is a Professor of Art at Whittier College, where he teaches photography, drawing, and digital media.
